My first home-made sushi
I was so stressed out that I had to do something out of ordinary and not that time consuming. So just from the village, I got a sushi mat and some necessary ingredients like nori (seaweed), sushi rice, avocado, wasabi, picked ginger, rice vinegar and soy sauce. I also had carrots, celery, and a tuna can.
There it is my first sushi. It is yummy and to be honest not that bad looking.
The marvel of Internet teleconferencing
Although Internet is a big part of my life and almost my everything involved in one way or another to using it, it still interesting to notice how fast it grows and becomes even more useful.
I attended this amazing Internet-based teleconference this noon, that included all features you would have had if you were in an actual conference room, in addition to the convenience of being at your own office with time and cost efficiency.
It is going to be even much more fun and useful in less than a couple of years from now.

Procrastination: the devil responsible for all shortcomings
I wish I could understand the psychology behind procrastination. Why, for God sake why, we just put things off, even those that are so important to us.
Sometimes I just sit and finish a work in a day or two, a work I have been putting off for months. I knew I had to do it, but just didn't. And when it is done, you wonder why you just resisted.
I have two methods that when I am in the mode works well for tackling procrastination: 1) just sit and start doing it. 2) No expectation no disappointment. Without any thought for the next phase just start doing it.
Here are some good Internet resources:

Unbearable lightness of being
I went salsa dancing last night. It still amazes me to see how animalistic and inappropriate the man/woman relation can be, even for mature, supposedly respected individuals. There was this couple who just met and apparently had no place to go, but to stay in the place and almost hump each other; Disgusting.
I must be from a different planet, I guess.

Boxing
Of all the odds, now I am very interested in fitness boxing. Not to fight at all, but just shadow boxing and hitting the heck out of the heavy bag in our gym.
Despite my high-rank belt in Tea Kwon Do, I am very new to and naive in boxing. Here are some nice information I found in the internet.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Lord, thank you for all I have and for all I don't, for all I am and for all I am not. You are the creator and you are the decision-maker. Thank you for granting me freedom, intelligence, health, food, love and wisdom.
Here is a fabulous Persian poem:
Lord, neither are you a cruel tyrant for me to complain,
nor have I got any right to demand you to prosper me.
You are the all mighty who manages everything, please take care of us,
Help this creation of yours to find himself and succeed.
And some quotations:
If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice. ~Meister Eckhart
For hearts that are kindly, with virtue and peace, and not seeking blindly a hoard to increase; for those who are grieving o'er life's sordid plan; for souls still believing in heaven and man; for homes that are lowly with love at the board; for things that are holy, I thank thee, O Lord! ~Walt Mason
Happy Thanksgiving!
